Creating space
Hey I’m exploring here
Setting aside time and space for exploring new and old technologies, with goals of sharing a weekly update. Even if I only dedicate 1 hour a week. Here are a few of the things swirling around in my head:
Weaving
Old tech. The jacquard loom was the precursor for the first computer. I love this fact. I have owned a table loom for a few years. I relearned how to read patterns and set up a warp. It’s a little clunky but functional.
Graphics & Motion
This is both for interfaces and textile prints. Patterns have my heart and give me great peace. But curious to explore stand alone pieces as well. Adding motion to either.
Photo editing
Picking some of my favorites of my XX,000 iCloud photos and elevating these to gift worthy work. Or create a 8,000 page book of my dog.
Vibe design and other AI tools
What can this new technology do? How can I create a process with it? I love efficiency and ideas, so curious about how this can be impactful.
Book
I have a little project to bring to life and hope to share, working with my niece on this.
